HVAL Championship

The HVAL Championship is a high school cross-country 5K in Litchfield, Connecticut, featuring separate boys and girls races. It takes place in November. The course is described as flat and fast, presenting a direct championship challenge rather than a lengthy trail run. The varsity race is held at White Memorial in Litchfield, with Greystone Electronics LLC managing timing and results. The competition includes teams from HVAL schools; past participants have featured runners from Christian Heritage School, Forman School, and Harvey School.
