Lost Souls - The Race That Finds You

Lost Souls is a trail race at Rocky Hill Ranch in Smithville, Texas, offering four distances: 50k, 25k, 10k, and 5k. The races begin in the morning, starting with the longest distance and proceeding to the shortest, with a 12-hour overall cutoff. Runner entry is limited to 500, making it a focused trail event rather than a large festival. The course features loop routes with modest climbs and rolling terrain, keeping runners from settling into a single rhythm. The 50k distance comprises two loops, while the 25k, 10k, and 5k each consist of one loop. This design suits both novice trail runners seeking a shorter challenge and experienced runners aiming for longer distances. All participants receive medals and merchandise. However, any changes to selected distances must be made before race week or in person before the start; beginning a race at a different distance than registered will be recorded as a DNF.
