ORRRC Miamisburg Turkey Trot

The ORRRC Miamisburg Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day race in Miamisburg, Ohio, organized by the Ohio River Road Runners Club. The primary event is a 5-mile run/walk, alongside a 1-mile fun run/walk for those seeking a shorter start to the holiday. A virtual option is available, with packets mailed from Fairfield, Ohio. Live runners begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. Advance registration is required; there is no race-day sign-up. The 5-mile course begins at Main Street and Water Street, concluding in Riverfront Park. The loop winds through Miamisburg streets, featuring a railroad crossing and two uphill sections, one early and another later. A single water stop is provided. Participants in the 5-mile race are assigned to starting corrals based on their anticipated finish time. Race records indicate this event has been a local Thanksgiving tradition for over forty years.
