O wyścigu
The Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge is a 3.7-mile uphill run or walk in Palm Springs. It starts at Tram Way and Highway 111, climbing nearly 2,000 feet from the desert toward the mountains. Runners in the 6K are professionally timed, while walkers can cover the same steep road at an easier pace.
The route heads toward the San Jacinto Mountains, with the Coachella Valley dropping behind as participants gain elevation. At the finish, participants receive a medal, race shirt, post-race food and drink, and access to a festival and health fair. Awards are given to winners and to the top three finishers in each 6K age group. A bus returns participants down the hill after the race.
