Parkway Subaru Battleship Half Marathon & GFL 10K|5K

The Parkway Subaru Battleship Half Marathon & GFL 10K|5K begins and ends at Water Street Park in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. The start/finish line is located on Princess Street between Water Street and Front Street. Participants can select the half marathon, 10K, or 5K, with all races commencing in the morning. A virtual participation option is offered for those who prefer to join the event without running the downtown course. The half marathon, established in 1998, is among the longer-standing half marathons in the South. The course is described as a journey through historic downtown Wilmington. The Battleship North Carolina is integrated into the race; participants receive complimentary admission to the ship by presenting their race bib. Upon finishing, runners are given medals, water, snacks, bananas, Hawaiian Rolls, and beer for participants aged 21 and over.
