The 43rd Annual PDX Triathlon Festival at Blue Lake Regional Park offers a scenic, flat, and fast course over two days. Try a Paddle Triathlon (kayak or paddle-board) or join a relay. The Super Sprint is ideal for speed, Junior Triathletes, or newcomers. NW triathletes call this a "must do event to open the triathlon season." Started by local Masters Triathlete Frank Goulard, who still participates, the event features bike courses closed to traffic for safety.
