Pen Park Trails Fest

Pen Park Trails Fest is a trail run and race weekend held at Welcker’s Point in Wisconsin’s Peninsula State Park. The race begins in the morning. Packet pickup is available the afternoon before at Old Fish Creek Town Hall and again at Welcker’s Point before the start. Online registration is open from May through early November; runners may also register on site during packet pickup hours. The event focuses on supported trail running, not just a start and finish time. Runners receive course nutrition, a race hoodie, a completion award, and post-finish snacks. A beer from Sway Brewing and Blending or a non-alcoholic drink is provided. The 30K has a cutoff at mile 14.2. Food service begins before midday, and the official race concludes in the afternoon. A post-race gathering continues with non-alcoholic and gluten-free drinks, plus potential brats and hot dogs depending on the weather.
