The Run for Justice 5K begins at the West Lafayette Wellness Center in West Lafayette, Indiana. This chip-timed, certified 5K is held in spring and raises awareness of modern slavery. All proceeds benefit International Justice Mission, a nonprofit that combats slavery and human trafficking globally.
The event attracts regular runners, participants focused on charity, sponsors, and families. A Kids' Dash for children 10 and under takes place the evening before the main race. A 10K has been included previously but may be paused if growth leads to route congestion; this course retraced the 5K route, raising safety concerns. Sponsors can contribute directly to the fundraiser, and a private match once doubled a $51,000 fundraising total to $102,000 for International Justice Mission.
