Salina Crossroads Marathon

More than 5,000 runners participate in the Salina Marathon, running through Salina, Kansas, on a Saturday morning. It is the largest marathon in Kansas, with around five thousand registrations, and the event is known as “The Most Runner Friendly Marathon in Kansas.” The field includes runners from all 50 states, Canada, India, Mexico, Norway, Tanzania, and the United Kingdom. Over 400 volunteers assist with course monitoring, aid stations, packet pickup, the finish line, the festival, and race results. Aid stations provide water, Gatorade, and GU gels. Visit Salina estimates the marathon’s local economic impact exceeds $1 million.
