Seabrook Lucky Trails begins and ends at Rex Meador Park in Seabrook, Texas. The event's schedule centers on the Seabrook nature trails. Friday evening features a short, family-friendly Kids 1K and a 5K that might require lights as sunset approaches. Saturday hosts the marathon, half marathon, and a 4-person marathon relay, with an early start for marathon walkers. Sunday offers another half marathon, a quarter marathon, and a 5K, allowing participants to select a single race or combine multiple events throughout the weekend.
The course departs Rex Meador Park, proceeds toward Pine Gully Park, and then returns. Approximately the first mile is on city streets before transitioning to the trails. The surface is primarily crushed granite. The marathon course consists of four loops, and the half marathon course uses two loops. The Pelican Challenge links the half marathons on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The Trail Challenge combines the Saturday marathon with the Sunday half marathon. Police officers provide crossing guard services at main street intersections. Roads are closed early on Saturday, and course regulations prohibit bicycles and baby joggers on the route.
