Southernmost Turkey Trot 5K

The Southernmost Turkey Trot 5K begins and ends near Key West's Southernmost Point, embracing its Mile 0 location from the start. This Thanksgiving morning 5K includes a shorter 1-mile Rooster Romp walk-run. Participants can opt for timed or untimed races. Mile 0 Events hosts the race, benefiting Reef Relief, a Key West nonprofit dedicated to coral reef conservation. The 5K route guides participants through Old Town streets, offering tropical scenery before looping back to the Southernmost Point vicinity. The event welcomes families, walkers, casual runners, and those aiming for a quick holiday 5K. Strollers are assigned to the last corral, and a HERO discount is available for military families. All finishers receive a medal. Adult and youth shirts are provided. Participants aged 21 and older are offered a mimosa. The post-race gathering takes place at Southernmost Point Bar, with photo opportunities featuring the mascot, Dash. For those seeking an additional challenge, the Double Trot option combines this race with the Hogs Breath Hogs Trot.
