Tails & Tatas Breast Cancer Awareness 5k Run/Walk 2026

The Tails & Tatas Breast Cancer Awareness 5k Run/Walk is an October event in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. It offers an in-person 5k, a virtual 5k, and a 1-mile run for children 12 and under. The race begins and ends at Swope Toyota Dealership. Registration is $25 for the 5k and $10 for the kids' run. All proceeds support the Baptist Health Foundation Hardin. The in-person course follows a path from the dealership through Freeman Lake Park, presenting it as a community run/walk rather than a competitive road race. Dogs are included in the activities; a pet costume contest begins 30 minutes prior to the run/walk, featuring awards for cutest dog, best costume, and dog/owner look-alike. Top three male and female finishers in the 5k and kids' run will receive awards, while all 1-mile finishers get medals. This event has been held for nine years and is a partnership with the Swope Family of Dealerships. Packet pickup is available before race day at both Pet Supplies Plus and Swope Toyota.
