The Trail Run at Eagle Mountain Park - 2026

The Trail Run at Eagle Mountain Park is an annual trail event on the edge of Fort Worth, Texas, featuring a 5-ish mile run and a 2-ish mile hike. Luke’s Locker Fort Worth presents the event, and the setting is key: Eagle Mountain Park offers winding dirt trails, genuine elevation, and sufficient climbing to provide a proper off-road morning instead of a flat park path. The race maintains an old-school approach: no timing chips, no race clocks, and runners record their own finish times. Finishers receive a ceramic mug filled with hot pancakes, accompanied by coffee and trailside snacks. The day also features live music from School of Rock Saginaw, Mount to Coast trail shoe demos, a Sock Exchange with Feetures and Luke’s Locker, awards for the top male and female runners, and a guided youth hike led by a Girl Scout troop. Proceeds benefit Streams & Valleys, an organization focused on the Trinity River and Trails.
