Tiadaghton Trail Challenge

The Tiadaghton Trail Challenge begins and ends at the Tiadaghton State Forest Resource Management Center near Waterville, Pennsylvania. This yearly trail race in Pine Creek Valley offers a half marathon and a 10K for participants seeking rocky singletrack, steep ascents, and a woodland course over road racing. The course incorporates singletrack, old wagon roads, quarry grades, and forest roads winding through hemlock and oak stands, revealing valley vistas. Hundreds of trail runners have participated in recent years. Aid stations are stocked, awards are given, and the 10K winner receives a prize axe. Tracy Kemmerer directs the race, established to commemorate her late son.
