Toughest 10K Galveston sends runners across the I-45 Galveston Causeway, with approximately two-thirds of the 10K distance on the bridge above the water. This timed road race takes place in Galveston, Texas, during October and is organized by Running Sport Alliance.
The course utilizes the causeway, featuring visible mile markers, water stations on both sides of the bridge, and course monitors providing guidance. It is the second event in a three-race Bridge series, and participants who finish are awarded a medal upon returning to the start-finish area near Teichman Road.
