Trick or Trot 5K

Trick or Trot 5K is a Halloween-season 5K held in Albany's Washington Park, emphasizing costumes alongside running. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and the event includes chip timing and age-group awards for those seeking official results. The course winds through Halloween-themed displays within the park, featuring a witch's village, ghouls and ghosts, and a pumpkin patch. The event is designed for families, neighbors, first-time runners, and experienced runners, with strollers permitted at the rear for safety. Following the run, a party will feature a DJ, vendors, decorations, giveaways, Best Costume awards, and random prize drawings. Registered runners will receive a wicking fabric shirt.
