West Valley Triathlon 2026

The West Valley Triathlon begins and ends at the Goodyear YMCA in Goodyear, Arizona, with racing commencing in the morning. As a USAT-sanctioned triathlon and duathlon event, all participants require a USA Triathlon day or annual membership. The competition is open to both youth and adults, with options for individual entry or participation as part of a relay team. The event provides multiple short-course distances rather than a single set distance. Triathlon options include a mini race featuring a 100-meter swim, 4-mile bike, and 1-mile run, as well as sprint-style distances with swims up to 400 meters, bike legs up to 12 miles, and 5K runs. The duathlon substitutes running for the swim leg, and relay categories allow teams to divide the segments. All participants will receive a finisher award, some divisions include shirts or hats, and age-group awards are presented once all winners in the respective categories are confirmed.
