Magdaman

Magdaman is a charity street run in Linz, Austria, centered on Magdalenastrasse 60 and typically held in May. The main races begin around 2 p.m., following the children's races at approximately 1:30 p.m. Participants can select 5 km or 10 km distances, and Nordic walkers are also included. The 5 km course gains about 75 meters in elevation, while the 10 km course gains about 150 meters, making it a short but not entirely flat route. The event prioritizes its fundraising: recent support was directed to school projects in Uganda, with an €11,500 donation noted. It also operates as a Green Event, integrating sustainability into its organization. A tiger mascot accompanies the children's races, adding a family atmosphere beyond the main start. Organizers also share cumulative statistics, including 49,550 participants, 9,883 km covered, and 389,620 meters of climbing recorded throughout the event's history.
