Sobre esta prova
Orleigh Park serves as the central point, with the SBSC Clubhouse as the usual start and the Brisbane River alongside the running path. In practice, it functions as a Brisbane Road Runners club morning: BRRC members, new members collecting bibs, and visitors obtaining temporary bibs before proceeding to the start. The atmosphere leans towards a weekly training run rather than a major event, with the "Bring a Friend" Season Launch adding a relaxed early-season feel.
The route follows the club's established path by the river, beginning and ending close to the clubhouse. Water stations are positioned near the start/finish area, and toilets are available at Orleigh Park and the clubhouse. Organization is key: "No late entries or on-the-day registration," a rule strictly enforced. Additionally, "Be at the start line by 5:50 am for safety briefing." Post-run, standard provisions apply: bananas are supplied, and free coffee is offered on championship days.
