Rocky Creek Gravel 2026

Rocky Creek Forest hosts this event: a closed-road gravel kermesse on Forestry SA fire roads through the Kuitpo section. Rocky Creek Gravel III marks the "return of our gravel races for 2026," and it has the feel of a club day rather than a polished expo. Expect rougher surfaces and terrain where a "bike capable of riding off road comfortably" is necessary. The course runs in laps, with choices carrying the names "Long Boiii," "Medium Oat Latte," and "Short Course," plus a recreational option for riders who just want to ride some laps and have fun. Sign-on is at Rocky Creek Campground with access from Razorback Road, and the field is broad: all clubs, AusCycling licence holders, race off-road licence riders, and recreational riders. It is closed-road gravel, but still forest-fire-road riding, so bring legs, handling, and a transponder if you have one.
