The SCPC Vancouver Historic 5K, 10K & Half Marathon takes place on Stanley Park’s paved Seawall, a well-known Vancouver route encircling the park's perimeter. The event utilizes shoe-tag timing, a finish-line clock, and in-person results, with tags gathered post-finish. The course traces the Seawall along Stanley Park’s northern, western, and southern shores, offering clear vistas of downtown Vancouver, the North Shore mountains, and the Lions Gate Bridge. Stanley Park, Vancouver’s original park, spans 400 hectares, placing the race alongside forests of cedar, hemlock, and fir, as well as the coastline. The event maintains a practical local-race atmosphere, featuring a group warm-up led by The Morgan Method, no race-day registration, and a Yellow Bib option for participants entering after standard merchandise and medals are gone.
