The Apfellauf der Kelterei Heil begins and ends at the cider press company’s location in Laubuseschbach, at An den Obstwiesen 2. This June road-and-trail running event offers two straightforward options: a 5 km run completed in one lap or a 10 km run over two laps. The 5 km participants start in the morning, with the 10 km runners beginning shortly thereafter. The event welcomes both competitive runners and casual participants. Children up to age 9 have their own free run scheduled around midday. The course departs the company grounds, passing orchards before utilizing forest tracks, field paths, a closed segment of the L3063 state road, and a bike path leading back toward Laubuseschbach. Friends, workmates, and clubs may register as teams, requiring a minimum of eight people per team, with runners participating in both the 5 km and 10 km races. Team scoring considers the two fastest runners in each distance, though all participants are listed in the individual results.
