Sägerserie, 3. Lauf

The Sägerserie is a three-race cross-country running series in Berlin. Its third race takes place at Sportplatz Heidenheimer Str. 53 in Reinickendorf. The series occurs three times annually, with the final round typically held in late autumn. It is known as the most challenging cross-country series in Berlin and Brandenburg. The available distances are 3.75 km, 11.25 km, 15 km, and 18.75 km. This is a small, challenging event, distinct from large city races, attracting approximately 101 to 300 participants, with only a few opting for the longest distance. The course distances increase with each race in the series. Runners may enter a single event or the entire series. Those completing the series earn the title “Säger,” or “Sawyer,” reflecting the race’s direct, unadorned character. Online registration is open, and same-day sign-ups are permitted. The event provides race timing, changing facilities, showers, public transport links, online certificates, and post-race refreshments.
