Cursa de Muntanya de la Ratafia 2026

The Cursa de Muntanya de la Ratafia begins at the Resclosa del Parc de Sant Salvador in Santa Coloma de Farners, Girona. It takes place in November during the town’s Fira de la Ratafia. Club Olímpic Farners organizes this mountain-running event, which includes a challenging Gran race for experienced trail runners, a shorter Petita race, a Popular March, and a Kids race, allowing families to participate together. The long trail covers 25 km with 1,400 m of elevation gain, and the shorter trail is 13 km with 500 m of elevation gain. The Petita route incorporates well-known local sites, and the common starting point in Parc Sant Salvador reinforces the event's connection to the town. Registration provides a chip bib, aid stations, complimentary race photos, a post-race sandwich, entry into a gift raffle, and a flask of ratafia, highlighting the local liqueur beyond its name association.
