Media Marathon Motril 2026

The Media Marathon Motril is a 21.097-kilometer urban half marathon in Motril, organized by the Sports Area of the Motril City Council and scheduled for October. It begins on Doctor Norman Bethune Avenue, has approval from the Andalusian Athletics Federation, and this is the forty-second edition of the race. The route remains within the city, with aid stations along the course and ten control points. The main half marathon is accompanied by popular 5K and 10K races, a format used for nine consecutive editions. The top three men and women in each category receive trophies, and all finishers receive a medal that can be engraved with their name and time.
