La Foulée Blanche - Autrans-Méaudre en Vercors 2027

La Foulée Blanche is a Nordic ski race series held in Autrans-Méaudre en Vercors, within the French Vercors mountains. It features freestyle races for beginners, schoolchildren, youth racers, and experienced cross-country skiers. The main race day includes 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km distances, with the 42 km serving as the headline event. Now in its 48th edition, the event is part of a long-standing local winter-sport tradition. The program extends beyond the adult races. La Foulée des Jeunes offers middle-school, high-school, and student racers 5 km and 10 km freestyle events, along with introductions to Nordic sports. La Foulée des Enfants is designed for primary-school children, incorporating skiing, games, and learning activities focused on snow and cross-country skiing. Prior to the main races, participants can collect bibs and visit a public partner village. This village features outdoor gear exhibitors, equipment advice, local Vercors products, sports nutrition stands, biathlon initiation, games, carriage rides, music, mulled wine, and hot chocolate. Podiums and prize ceremonies conclude the races, with the schedule subject to adjustments based on mountain weather conditions.
