Sobre esta prova
Le Rallye de la Foire aux Vins is a cycling rally that begins at the Parc des Expositions in Colmar, France, on the first Saturday of the local wine fair. Participants select from marked routes of 32 km, 54 km, or 92 km. The longest route includes approximately 1,050 metres of climbing, making the 92 km ride the challenging option on a day designed for both casual and experienced cyclists.
The routes follow local roads through the vineyards surrounding Colmar. Cooperative wine cellars serve as control points and refreshment stops. Each participant carries a route card that is stamped at various points, and the detachable portion is entered into a prize draw at the finish. The rally, organized by Cyclo Colmar, attracts hundreds of cyclists annually and has been held for at least 40 editions as part of the Foire aux Vins.
