Trail de l'hers - La Bastide-sur-l'Hers 2027

The Trail de l'Hers is a spring trail-running event held in La Bastide-sur-l'Hers, a village in Ariège. It attracts a field of around 400 runners. The event offers four participation options: a 10 km hike, open to participants aged 5 and up, and three timed trail races. The race distances are the 10 km Exotique with 370 m of elevation gain, the 20 km Corsé with 850 m, and the 28 km Pépite Allégée with 1,100 m. Even the shortest race requires climbing, not just flat speed. The routes follow marked paths and trails around La Bastide-sur-l'Hers and the neighboring villages of Le Peyrat, Sainte-Colombe-sur-l'Hers, and Lesparrou. Aid stations are provided on each race course, including stops in the villages. The Association Sportive du Plantaurel and Team Trail'quillou organize the event. Bib pickup is at the town hall, with staggered starts in the morning. Following the races, the village promenade serves as the gathering area, featuring a refreshment stand, food trucks, music, and an awards ceremony.
