35. BorsodChem Bódva-völgyi maraton

The 35th BorsodChem Bódva-völgyi Maraton uses Edelényi Kastélysziget as its base. This is a traditional road race with a straightforward nature: it is uncommon today to find a race that proceeds directly from point A to point B, yet this one continues to do so. The marathon and half marathon courses are certified by the Hungarian Athletics Association, and the event has the atmosphere of a runner's gathering rather than a highly produced show.
