Sobre esta prova
GT3 Lavaredo is a 133 km gravel race in the Dolomites, starting and finishing in Auronzo di Cadore next to Lago di Santa Caterina. It is part of the UCI Gravel World Series and serves as Italy’s qualifier for the UCI Gravel European and World Championships. Riders may use gravel bikes or MTBs.
The route circles the Tre Cime di Lavaredo / Drei Zinnen area and runs through Valle del Comelico, Val Pusteria, and Val d’Ansiei. Most of the course is off-road, with 103.6 km on gravel or dirt and 30.4 km on asphalt, totaling 3,170 m of climbing. The main climbs include Danta di Cadore, Malga Klammbach, Bagni di San Candido, Cimabanche, and Passo Tre Croci. Expect compact gravel where the race can move quickly, rougher sections, and some single track. Mauro Bettin describes the climbs as long and rideable, and the descents as long without being overly technical.
