Sobre esta prova
The Deer Trail Run begins at Wiejska Beach in Sorkwity, a village within Poland’s Masurian Lake District. This event is part of the Biegowe Grand Prix Mazur “Run Closer to Nature” series. The primary race is a short road run, approximately 6.5 to 6.9 km. Separate races are held for children and youth across several age categories, making it function more as a family race day than a long-distance competition.
The routes are on asphalt surfaces. The event maintains a practical setup with electronic timing, participant medals, and a post-race meal. Entry is limited to 400 participants, contributing to its small, local race atmosphere. Silent Hill Resort Sp. z o.o. organizes the Sorkwity edition, designated as “Run Closer to Nature #2” in the series. The Mazury setting and the deer-themed name establish the race’s local identity.
