Sobre esta prova
The Cieszyński FORTUNA Bieg is a 10 km road race in Cieszyn, a city with over twelve centuries of history. Held annually in spring, the race utilizes Cieszyn’s unique location on the Olza river, straddling the border between Poland and the Czech Republic. It is designed for a substantial field, with entries capped at 1,200 participants.
The course winds along the riverside boulevards on both the Polish and Czech sides of the Olza, crossing border bridges that connect the two parts of Cieszyn. It is not a completely flat route, featuring varied terrain and some local inclines. The distinctive aspect is the border-city setting, allowing runners to pass through historic Cieszyn while competing in a single event across two nations, creating a distinct cross-border atmosphere.
