Sobre esta prova
Biegam, bo lubię Lasy is a forest running and nordic walking event at Zimne Doły, a woodland area near Warsaw. The program begins in the morning with a trainer-led warm-up, then sends adults onto 5 km and 10 km routes, with a separate Sport Generacja race for children. Approximately 500 runners and nordic walkers are expected, making it more of a community forest outing than a large city race.
The course winds through the Zimne Doły woods, and the setting is as important as the stopwatch. Foresters provide educational sessions alongside the races, including talks on wood as a renewable material. Visitors can compare different kinds of wood by color, smell, weight, and hardness, even testing hardness by hammering nails into prepared samples. This edition upholds the series’ core concept: run or walk in the forest, then learn about your surroundings.
