UFO Vertical Sprint 2026

UFO Vertical Sprint challenges runners to ascend Bratislava’s UFO watch.taste.groove., a lookout and restaurant on the SNP Bridge shaped like a flying saucer. This towerrunning race involves a short, intense climb on asphalt and stairs, beginning at 11:00 with a limit of 300 participants. The race welcomes sports enthusiasts, featuring Open categories for men and women, allowing casual runners to compete alongside athletes specializing in stair races. The course is straightforward and demanding: 23 floors, 430 stairs, and 95 vertical meters to the finish. Participants ascend stairs typically off-limits to the public, concluding with a panoramic view of Bratislava’s landmarks from a prominent city structure. The event is a component of the Czech-Slovak Towerrunning Cup and serves as a round in the Slovak Cup for stair running, linking it to the global sport of racing up towers, skyscrapers, and staircases.
