Flagstaff Marathon Presented by Cambium Wealth and Legacy Strategies
SÁB OUT 3
The Flagstaff Marathon takes place at Arizona Nordic Village, north of Flagstaff within the Coconino National Forest. Participants can select a marathon, half marathon, 10K, or Kids Kilo. All races are run on singletrack and doubletrack trails through ponderosa pine and aspen forest at approximately 8,000 feet elevation. The event is known as “The Coolest Marathon in Arizona” and typically sells out, so early registration is advised. The marathon course covers the half-marathon route twice, incorporating the altitude and trail conditions throughout. Marathon runners face a cutoff at mile 19, requiring them to reach that aid station by early afternoon to proceed. The Coconino Community College Foundation and Sundog Running host the event, with proceeds benefiting CCC Athletics, particularly the men’s and women’s cross country teams. Race results have been archived since 2006, indicating a long-standing local presence.
Soulstice Mountain Trail Run
SÁB OUT 10
Soulstice Mountain Trail Run is a small, high-altitude trail race held in Government Prairie, within Kaibab National Forest near Flagstaff, Arizona. Participants can select from 10K, 18K, and 30K distances, with a Kids’ Dash also scheduled. The race takes place at approximately 7,400 feet, meaning even the shorter distances require significant effort in the thin air. Entry is limited to 200 runners because of its Forest Service permit, and it has consistently sold out since the early 2000s. The race originated as Flagstaff’s response to the Imogene Pass Run, after William Ring, Wiley Addis, and Paul Brinkmann sought a northern Arizona mountain race. NATRA, the Northern Arizona Trail Runners Association, now manages the event with volunteers, including an unpaid race director. They introduced the short course to make competitive trail running more accessible for newcomers. Local backing is provided by groups and businesses such as Pay n’ Take, Aspen Sports, Fratelli’s Pizza, the Coconino Amateur Radio Club, and Northern Arizona University recreation management students. All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff youth mentoring programs, with the race generating over $12,000 annually for the organization. Runner’s World recognized Soulstice as one of its top U.S. trail races and highlighted the post-race gathering as exceptional.

RunSedona Events
SÁB FEV 6
RunSedona places runners among Sedona, Arizona's red rocks with 5K, 10K, and half marathon options each February. This event offers multiple distances over a weekend, not just a single race, with daytime temperatures typically between 50-60°F. The format suits many participants, including runners, joggers, walkers, families, and those seeking a winter desert race. The 5K and 10K utilize paved roads. The 10K follows an out-and-back route, while the 5K is designed for walkers and is the only distance permitting strollers. BlueWolf Events organizes the race, which has been held for over 15 years and receives significant backing from the Sedona community. Recent events have drawn close to 3,000 participants, including many first-time RunSedona entrants, numerous out-of-town runners, and a field with a majority of women. Registration includes a complimentary race-day shuttle ticket, chip timing with live results, free race photos, a Dri-Fit shirt, a HydraPak Speedcup, post-race refreshments, awards for various distances and age groups, and a post-race expo featuring local Sedona food trucks, vendors, and exhibitors.

Team Run Flagstaff, NATRA e NAZ Elite mantêm a cidade no eixo. As provas de referência incluem Flagstaff Marathon, Flagstaff 50's Endurance Runs, Taco 'Bout Fun Run e a 4th of July Flagstaff Downtown Mile.

Snowbowl road, 89a, Fort Valley Road / US 180, old walnut canyon road, s cosnino rd e Schultz Pass Rd formam o cardápio regular de estrada. Bear Howard Gravel Race, Valley of the Sun e Tour of the Gila ficam no radar dos eventos principais.
