Black River Trail Classic
SÁB OUT 17
The Black River Trail Classic is a fall trail race held on Smrekar Road in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, offering 10K, 25K, 50K, and 85K distances. All courses are on unpaved trails, making it a true dirt-and-woods event, distinct from road races with brief trail segments. The race began in 2017, and its entry fees are reasonably priced for trail ultras, with early registration at $65 and late registration at $85. The long course is designed to be point-to-point, avoiding out-and-backs and repeated sections while remaining within the local trail system. The initial portion is characterized as smooth and runnable, transitioning to a hillier second half featuring ridge views and autumn foliage. Participants receive handcrafted wooden medals, and all registered runners get a Black River Trail Classic beanie. Those completing the 85K distance accumulate a collection of sweatshirts and patches, earning one of each for their first finish and an additional patch for subsequent finishes. The post-race atmosphere is understated and functional, providing hot food, pies, and chapstick.
Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest
SÁB OUT 24
Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest is a fall trail running event in Pennsylvania's Waterville and Lock Haven area, offering 25K and 50K distances on rugged state-forest trails. The races have an ultra feel even at the shorter distance: the 25K gains over 5,000 feet and the 50K gains over 8,000 feet, with approximately 95% of the route on unpaved surfaces. Organizers caution that these are not courses for novice trail runners, warning entrants to prepare for some of Pennsylvania's most challenging trails. Both courses incorporate sections of the Mid State, Spiked Buck, Tiadaghton, Panther Run, and Torbert trails. The 25K also uses Huntley. The 50K begins at the park, proceeds north to Panther Run, ascends to the Mid State Trail, and then follows a significant portion of the original COTW Marathon route. Torbert Trail presents a late challenge with about 4 miles remaining, before runners descend to the finish on Panther Run. Hikers are welcome but must complete the course within 7 hours. Each distance is limited to 200 runners, Falcon Timing manages the finish line, and post-race food and beverages are provided.
2026 Hixon 50
SÁB OUT 24
The Hixon 50 is a trail race series in La Crosse, Wisconsin, held within Hixon Forest. Participants can select from a kids race, 5K, 10K, 25K, or 50K, accommodating first-time trail runners, mid-distance racers, and ultra-distance athletes. The River City Running Club organizes the event, and the variety of distances welcomes children, casual runners, club members, and those seeking a demanding day on technical trails. The 5K route crosses rolling forest paths. The 10K begins with that loop and incorporates additional trail segments, featuring banked turns, prairie sections, and singletrack. The 25K consists of approximately 23K of singletrack with about 4,000 feet of elevation gain, including the Kwik Trip Klimb challenge. The 50K completes the 25K loop twice for a 50K course over rugged terrain, technical running, nine aid stations, and another attempt at the Klimb.

EMS Week 5k Run/Walk, Hixon Trail Series, 2026 Festival Foods Turkey Trot Home Edition, Hixon 50, Jack’s Jog 5k, Hixon4est RUD run e YMCA Maple Leaf Walk Run seguram o calendário.

La Crosse é quase um sonho para quem curte bike. A galera local pedala na Great River State Trail, La Crosse River Trail, Three Rivers Trail, La Crosse River State Trail, Great River Road, Goose Island Spin, Grandad Bluff Loop, Grandad Bluff to Riverside Loop e Winona Connector. Wednesday Night World C-Team se encontra às 17h30 no Weigent Park e pedala 25-35 milhas com uma subida de bluff, normalmente com 30-40 ciclistas. EMAG, TNWC, LaxCycling, Smith's Women's Road, World Famous Donut Ride, Smith's MTB group ride, Women's Wednesday MTB ride e Coulee Region Ladies Rides mantêm o pelotão girando. Grandad Bluff, Main Street, Bliss Road, Hixon Forest e La Crosse Blufflands concentram as subidas, o singletrack e as pernas de cyclocross.
