Participants receive custom medals, goodie bags, complimentary photos and videos, snacks, and results posted online within 12 to 24 hours.

The Mug Run series began in 1993 with small fields, averaging about 10 runners per race, primarily law enforcement personnel. It now attracts over 300 runners, with LASAA collaborating with Sheriff’s stations across the county. Each station contributes local customs and character, and the Altadena event includes a dedication linked to the station’s two-year anniversary.
