The race benefits the United Ostomy Association of America, a nonprofit organization providing support, education, and advocacy for individuals living with an ostomy or continent diversion. The courses traverse downtown Durham, Duke University, and adjacent historic neighborhoods before concluding back at the American Tobacco Campus.
