2026 #HonorMark 5K, 10K, 5k Ruck & Kids Fun Run

HonorMark is an annual race day at Daffin Park in Savannah, featuring a 5K run/walk, 10K run, ruck options, and a kids run. The event honors Mark Edward Hummeldorf, a local Marine Corps veteran and firefighter/paramedic. His service connected him with Southside Fire and EMS, Bryan County Emergency Services, Savannah Fire Rescue, and Parris Island Fire Rescue. Participants can select the 5K or 10K run, or tackle the 5K or 10K ruck distances. Families can participate in a kids run or virtual options. The race supports community donations in Mark’s name. His story highlights service: he served four years in the Marine Corps, earned the Purple Heart, and continued as a first responder until his death at age 33.
