Avondale 5K Run & Walk 2026

The Avondale 5K Run & Walk is a 5K event held regardless of weather, starting from Triangle Char + Bar on Savannah Highway in Charleston, South Carolina. The run and walk begin at 8:00 a.m., with check-in available from 7:00 a.m. This marks the 16th year for the event. The event centers on the Avondale neighborhood and Triangle’s parking lot, hosting an after-race gathering from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The race was established in 2010 to support the Charles Webb Center, a developmental day care managed by the Disabilities Board of Charleston County. This center serves children with special needs, from 6 weeks to 10 years old. All funds raised from the race are directed to the center, covering costs for classroom equipment, supplies, and food. Participants can contribute by running, walking, forming a team, donating, volunteering, or sponsoring.
