Battle of the Run Clubs 2027

Battle of the Run Clubs is a January cross-country team challenge in Aiken, South Carolina. It features a one-mile adult steeplechase where runners navigate small horse jumps, ditches, banks, and potentially water. The event also offers 5K, 10K, and 10-mile races, along with a free kids' fun run. The schedule begins with the steeplechase, followed by the 10-mile race, 10K, and 5K, each starting a half-hour after the previous one. The team format is designed for established run clubs, informal friend groups, families, and individual runners. Smaller teams can be merged, and solo participants can register as Free Agents to contribute to a mixed team score. Post-race activities at Stable View include food from Graze and Gaze, an awards ceremony, lawn games, on-site showers, and adult beverages available for purchase at the Tavern.
