The Naturally Outdoors Endurance Race begins at Florence Soccer Complex in Florence, South Carolina. Participants can select a 2-hour or 4-hour event. All runners and ruckers navigate a 2.5-mile loop, with the winner being the individual who completes the most laps before the event concludes. The 2-hour race finishes at 11:00 a.m., and the 4-hour race concludes at 1:00 p.m. An aid station is positioned at the start line, ensuring participants pass it each lap.
The ruck division offers a weighted-pack option. Men carry 30 pounds, while women and participants 18 and under carry 20 pounds of non-consumable weight. The event welcomes runners, walkers, first-timers, and age-group competitors. Awards are presented to the top male and female runners overall, and gift cards are given to male and female age-group winners. All finishers receive a NOD Endurance Race coin. The post-race gathering and awards ceremony will take place on the Naturally Outdoors back lawn. Proceeds from the race benefit trail and park systems in the greater Florence area, including projects associated with the local rail-trail.
