Sobre esta prova
The Parallel of Latitude Endurance Race offers runners eight hours at Dryden Lake Park in Dryden, New York, to cover as much distance as they wish. The clock starts in the morning and ends in the late afternoon. There are no cutoffs and no mileage cap, making the day suitable for anyone testing a new distance, including walking breaks, or for runners aiming for a high total.
The course is a flat 3.45-mile out-and-back route on a gravel rail trail alongside Dryden Lake. A single, well-stocked aid station is positioned at the start of each loop. Participants can find standard ultra-endurance food options such as pickles, soda, and potato chips. They also have the option to set up a personal tent or utilize one of the two available pavilions between laps. The race maintains a lighthearted atmosphere regarding breaks; lingering too long might prompt the race director to encourage a return to the trail.
