Skipjack Run 2026

Deal Island Bridge, a half mile of elegantly sloping terrain, marks the start and finish. The Chesapeake Bay Skipjack Fleet, North America's last commercial sail-powered fishing fleet, is at the start line. Osprey may be seen fishing before migrating south. Afterward, Deal Island Beach offers sea glass for a recovery walk. Walkers, jogging strollers, and leashed canines are welcome. 100% of proceeds from the Skipjack Run support the Deal Island Community Thanksgiving Dinner.
