Tideland 24 2026

Tideland 24 is a supported 24-hour ultramarathon in Cedar Point, North Carolina, within the Croatan National Forest. Participants will complete laps on the USATF-certified 1.37779-mile loop of the Tideland National Recreation Trail, structuring the race around consistent laps instead of a single point-to-point course. The event is organized by Tideland 24, with all proceeds benefiting the Marine Raider Foundation. The loop crosses the White Oak River, passing through salt marsh and forest, featuring aluminum and wooden bridges. The course consists of well-groomed crushed gravel with minimal elevation change. Runners may observe wildlife and the shifting tides throughout the event. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers, along with a distinct award for the highest-ranking active duty performance. A 100 Mile belt buckle is awarded to any runner achieving 100 miles. The Marine Raider Foundation provides support to active duty and medically retired Marine Raiders, their families, families of those killed in action, Raiders who are wounded or transitioning, and MARSOC Gold Star families.
