Sobre esta prova
Tuesday Night Thunder (TNT) is a weeknight criterium bike race series held in Louisville, Colorado, with races on Tuesday evenings during the summer. It features short-course road racing where riders repeatedly loop a compact circuit. The series includes A, B, and C pace races, separating newer racers from faster fields.
Sanitas Sports organizes the series with a focus on being local and accessible, offering affordable entries and free racing for women and juniors in some seasons. The Louisville course is 0.6 miles long, keeping the racing tight and spectator-friendly. It has three wide 90-degree turns followed by a long, gradual uphill turn leading to the start/finish line; this rise allows riders to spread the field before the finish. Fields can consist of beginners, developing riders, local professionals, and even WorldTour professionals, creating a blend of training race, community gathering, and high-speed competition. Race numbers are worn on the right side, and the races are USAC sanctioned under the Sanitas Sports organization.
