Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Fire Island, NY

The 4th annual Ocean Beach event gathers the community to honor first responders and remember 9/11. The event was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a firefighter who ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. You can run or walk, supporting those who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty. Runners predicting a pace faster than 6 minutes per mile will be seeded in the front corral.
