Unity Beach Swim - Aquathlon & Run Training Races is a November morning race series held at 15100 Gulf Blvd in Madeira Beach, Florida, near St. Petersburg. The offerings include swim-only races from short open-water distances up to 10K, 5K and 10K beach runs, and aquathlons ranging from a first-timer format to an ultra with a 5K run, 2.5K swim, and another 5K run. The race format keeps all segments close to the beach, with run-swim-run aquathlons and separate open-water swims for athletes focusing only on the water portion. The sprint aquathlon features a 2.5K run, 750m swim, and 2.5K run, while the entry-level aquathlon consists of a 1K run, 500m swim, and 1K run. Children 12 and under have their own aquathlon, and the Tri-A-Aquathlon kids format shortens the swim to 250m between two 1K beach runs.
