Poysdorfer Silvesterlauf

The Poysdorfer Silvesterlauf is a New Year's Eve road race held in Poysdorf, a wine-producing town in Lower Austria. The primary race covers 5.5 kilometers, a distance suitable for casual participants while also allowing for competitive racing at the front. The event is organized by the Hoppers Legend fan club of SC Poysdorf. This race also supports a local cause, with proceeds directed to the Poysdorf Volunteer Fire Department for the reported edition. Although it was only the fifth running of the event, participation reached a new high, and the competition was strong. Fabian Auttrit secured victory in the men's race with a time of 19:46, and Kathrin Polke won the women's race in 20:59.
