The Sue Bell Memorial Riverway Triathlon is centered on the Riverway, featuring a river swim and the familiar atmosphere of a local club race. It's the kind of morning where individuals, teams, and families share the transition area, each with their own motivation for participating. The memorial name adds a thoughtful significance without making the day feel somber.
The race offers long and short distances for individuals and teams. Younger athletes have dedicated "Little Kids Course" and "Big Kids Course" options. The event includes the standard swim, bike, run, and transition elements, managed by the Townsville Tri Club.
